Condom recall

Recall of 30 October 2026: Ultra Fin standard size condoms manufactured by Richter Rubber Technology

By an order dated 22 October 2026 (link: https://www.legifrance.gouv.fr/jorf/id/JORFTEXT000055029848), published in the French Official Journal on 30 October 2026, the French minister in charge of trade ordered the withdrawal and recall of ultra-thin condoms manufactured by the Malaysian company Richter Rubber Technology Sdn. Bhd.

This recall concerns several condom brands sold in Europe and produced in the same factory between 1 November 2022 and 28 February 2026:

Stop using them. The recall is carried out by the manufacturer, Richter Rubber Technology, which handles all requests and refunds. You can contact them directly at: richter@myrrt.de

Although only certain references are concerned, as a precaution we immediately stopped selling all condoms manufactured by RRT, across all references, and sent the manufacturer the relevant information in our possession so that it can organise its recall.

If you have used these condoms, the French health authorities recommend getting tested for sexually transmitted infections at a medical laboratory, and taking a pregnancy test if your period is late. Recall of batch 5RRI891 (August 2026)

This recall concerned batch 5RRI891 of Ultra Fin natural latex condoms, standard size, box of 12, sold between 23 December 2025 and 22 May 2026 (RappelConso notice published on 3 August 2026).
This batch was also produced by Richter Rubber Technology, in the same factory and using the same manufacturing process, the manual addition of ammonia water, as the one called into question by the order of 22 October 2026. The manufacturer has acknowledged to the authorities that this process was the cause of the defect.
