We chose two adaptogenic plants.

Carré Sauvage carefully sources its raw materials to create ethical, virtuous chocolate bars. Saying “aphrodisiac” makes it sound like desire and pleasure just switch on by magic… and it’s not that simple. But ashwagandha and muira puama can truly help boost libido.:

Raw organic Kamili cacao beans from Morogoro, Tanzania (70%), organic coconut blossom sugar from Java, cacao butter, roasted Piedmont HAZELNUT pieces, ashwagandha from India, muira puama from Amazonia, fleur de sel from Guérande. Ingredients from organic farming and fair trade. Vegan. Gluten-free.

Douceur invites you to unwind, reconnect with your senses, and anchor yourself in the present moment. It’s the first step toward an intimate moment and a little more letting go. Taste-wise, Douceur is an intense, fruity dark chocolate with caramel notes. Delicious, oui, but not only: every square is virtuous from start to finish, thanks to raw cacao - a well-known antioxidant, relaxant, and energizer. There’s no magical aphrodisiac - if there were, we’d all know. But by listening to your sensations, fully present in the moment, that’s where pleasure becomes intense.

Real ingredients, real sensations

Behind Douceur: high-quality Kokoa Kamili cacao beans, kept raw (non-roasted) to preserve their flavor and nutritional benefits. Like all Carré Sauvage chocolates, Douceur is crafted below 40°C for maximum taste and potency. The rest of the ingredients (muira puama, ashwagandha, coconut sugar) come from organic and fair-trade agriculture. The (very beautiful) packaging is made of 100% recycled paper printed with plant-based ink, and the inner film is wood pulp—biodegradable and home-compostable. Made in France in micro-batches

The Douceur bars are handmade in small quantities in France. The team works directly from the cacao bean, controlling every step of the process in a bean-to-bar spirit. This craft-driven approach is led by Laure, founder of the brand and specialist in raw cacao. Douceur is a co-creation shaped around holistic sexuality and pleasure rituals… and truly, all their bars are worth the detour.

Don’t be shy - we’re here to answer your lube-related questions. 

If you’re sensitive to stimulants such as caffeine or theobromine, be aware that cacao beans naturally contain them. We do not recommend this chocolate for people with diabetes, heart conditions, or those taking medication, as the adaptogens it contains may interact with certain treatments.

We also advise against consuming Douceur if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Douceur is a raw, vegan, and gluten-free chocolate. However, it is produced in a facility that handles tree nuts, gluten-containing cereals, sesame seeds, peanuts, soy, eggs, and milk. As a result, this chocolate may contain traces of these allergens.
